Über die Kanzlei
Dennemeyer & Associates in München ist Teil der international tätigen Dennemeyer Group, die seit Jahrzehnten Rechtsberatung, Patentmanagement-Software und IP-Consulting unter einem Dach vereint. Das Münchner Team wird seit 2022 von Dirk Kromm geleitet, der nach seinem Studium der Technischen Physik an der TU München seit über 25 Jahren im gewerblichen Rechtsschutz tätig ist. Provided is a security monitoring system comprising a security monitoring installation at premises protected by the security monitoring system, the system including a monitoring centre, remote from the premises, for monitoring alarm events reported by a controller of the installation, the installation including: a plurality of detection nodes; and a plurality of verification nodes; the system further comprising a tool providing an operator with access to a stored floorplan of the premises, the floorplan showing the disposition of nodes of the installation; the tool being configured to provide the operator with an option to: define one or more of multiple potential zones within the protected premises; identify one or more detection nodes as belonging to a particular defined zone; identify at least one particular verification node as belonging to the particular defined zone to create an association between the or each verification node and the one or more detection nodes of the particular defined zone; and to share the association with the installation controller, the controller being configured, in the event that any of the detection nodes of the particular defined zone is triggered, while the installation is in an armed state, to cause data captured by the or each verification node of the particular defined zone to be shared with the monitoring centre, the controller first activating the or each verification node of the particular defined zone if the or each verification node is not already in an active state. |

Provided is a security monitoring installation at premises protected by a security monitoring system, the premises having a plurality of rooms, the security monitoring installation having:a plurality of sensing or monitoring nodes, at least two of the plurality of rooms each being served by one or more of the plurality of nodes, the security monitoring system including a monitoring station remote from the premises, and a controller for the installation, the controller being programmed to handle alerts received from the nodes of the system, report alarm events to the monitoring station and apply alarm logic to alerts received from nodes of the installation in accordance with an arm state of the installation; the system further including a tool arranged to display a user interface, the user interface providing a user with access to a stored floorplan of the protected premises and details of the installed locations of the nodes of the installation, the user interface being configured to provide the user with an option to define, on a representation of the floorplan, a common zone corresponding to a first part of the floorplan that is distinct from and non-overlapping with a second part of the floorplan, the common zone comprising two or more rooms or enclosures to which a common alarm logic can be applied, each of the two or more rooms or enclosures of the common zone having a respective sensing or monitoring node of the plurality of nodes; the user interface further providing the user with an option to supply details of the common zone to the controller so that the controller can apply, as required, a common alarm logic to the respective sensing or monitoring nodes of the common zone while a different alarm logic is applied to at least one room, zone or area of the premises that does not form part of the common zone.Corresponding methods are also provided. |

The disclosure relates to an alarm peripheral, the alarm peripheral comprising: a magnetic sensing device at least partially coupled to an enclosure element, the magnetic sensing device being configured to sense a magnetic field surrounding the magnetic sensing device and to generate a magnetic event signal upon detecting a change in the sensed magnetic field; an accelerometer mounted on a movable part of the enclosure element; and a processor communicatively coupled to the magnetic sensing device and to the accelerometer, the processor being configured to process the magnetic event signal provided by the magnetic sensing device in order to determine that the enclosure element has been opened; the processor being also configured to generate an alarm event when signals received from the accelerometer are indicative of the opening of the enclosure element beyond a preestablished opening threshold. A mmWave radar sensor module is proposed, to have a specific structure enabling a 180° Field of View (FoV) with an affordable system cost. The proposed mmWave radar sensor module is put to use in passenger vehicles, commercial vehicles, automated guided vehicles (AGVs), as well as motorcycles and bikes, enabling a variety of application features: smart parking assistance, replacing PDC sensors, determining the distance, speed and angle of targets, including their tracking, detection of people, tracking of people, tailgate and door protection by restricting opening, gesture and kick sensing, and other applications.
