Abstract

A system (100) for automatically controlling work vehicle operation includes a remote computing system (114) configured to determine settings for the vehicle (10) and expected outcomes at a plurality of locations within a field/work site. Furthermore, the remote computing system (114) is configured to generate a map identifying the settings and the expected outcomes at each location. Additionally, an onboard computing system (106) is configured to control the operation of the vehicle (10) based on the map as the vehicle (10) traverses the field/work site. Moreover, the onboard computing system (106) is configured to determine actual outcomes at each of location as the vehicle (10) traverses the field/work site. In addition, the onboard computing system (106) is configured to compare the actual outcomes and the expected outcomes at each location and apply one or more offsets to the settings when the actual outcomes differ from the expected outcomes by more than a threshold amount.
