Abstract

The present invention provides a porous carrier having high porosity and excellent in shape retention, and provides a method for producing the porous carrier. A porous structure is formed by: preparing a liquid mixture comprising at least a first polypeptide and a second polypeptide; and adding transglutaminase to the liquid mixture, and allowing the resulting mixture to react to form a gel.
