Abstract

A heating device (20) includes a first rotator (21) and a second rotator (22) that contacts the first rotator (21) to form a nip (N) between the first rotator (21) and the second rotator (22). A heater (23) heats at least one of the first rotator (21) or the second rotator (22). A first support frame (30) supports one lateral end of the first rotator (21) and the second rotator (22) in a longitudinal direction of the first rotator (21) and the second rotator (22). A second support frame (30) supports another lateral end of the first rotator (21) and the second rotator (22) in the longitudinal direction of the first rotator (21) and the second rotator (22). An incompatible member (44) is mounted on the first support frame (30).
