Abstract

A vehicular driving support apparatus 1 determines whether there is a possibility of collision between the own vehicle and the obstacle existing in front of an own vehicle, and issues a warning to a driver under the determination that there is the possibility of collision. The apparatus 1 determines an attention state of the driver to the front of the own vehicle, and change a mode of issuing the warning depending on a determination result. The apparatus 1 issues the warning at a first warning timing T1 in a first mode M1 if the driver is paying attention to the front, and issues the warning at a second warning timing T2 in a second mode M2 if the driver is not paying attention to the front.
