Abstract

A driving control apparatus for vehicle is a driving control apparatus (10) for a vehicle (1) capable of executing automated driving, in which a target speed calculating part (34) calculates a first vehicle speed (V1) as a target speed such that a lateral acceleration rate of the vehicle (1) is made to be a prescribed (G1) value or lower when the vehicle (1) performs automated driving in accordance with a driving path, in a case in which a curved section is present in the driving path, the target speed calculating part (34) sets the target speed for the curved section to a second vehicle speed (V2) less than the first vehicle speed (V1), and in a case in which a steep inclined section (D) is present on a side of a driving traffic lane of the vehicle (1) in the curved section, the target speed calculating part (34) sets the target speed for the curved section in which the steep inclined section (D) is present to a third vehicle speed (v3) less than the second vehicle speed (V2).
