Abstract

In an uncoated region (16a) of a current collector (16) of a lithium-ion secondary battery (10), first codes (18) are formed along a longitudinal axis thereof. A first inspection device (105) and a second inspection device (107) record inspection information in a recording device (210) while identifying the position of an active material layer (17) using the first codes (18). It is possible to retrospectively acquire the inspection information on the active material layer (17) corresponding to the position of each of the first codes (18) in the longitudinal axis of the current collector (16), making it possible to predict or retrospectively identify individual differences between electrode materials used in cells.
