Abstract

A slide-in clamping device (100) for removably connecting a first electrical terminal of a withdrawable low-voltage circuit breaker to a corresponding second electrical terminal of a respective stationary base in a withdrawable low-voltage circuit breaker unit comprises at least one pair of first clamping fingers (131) facing each other and at least partially laterally delimiting a first clamping seat (110) for one of said first and second electrical terminals, the first clamping seat (110) comprising a respective slide-in opening (111); at least one pair of second clamping fingers (132) facing each other and at least partially laterally delimiting a second clamping seat (120) for the other of said first and second electrical terminals, the second clamping seat (120) comprising a respective slide-in opening (121) facing oppositely relative to the slide-in opening (111) of the first clamping seat (110); bias elastic means (140) acting on said at least one pair of first clamping fingers (131) and said at least one pair of second clamping fingers (132) so as to urge the clamping fingers (131, 132) of each pair towards each other in a clamping direction (Y-Y) substantially perpendicular to respective slide-in directions (X1-X1) of said first clamping seat (110) and said second clamping seat (120). In the clamping device (100) at least one displaceable spacer assembly (170) is provided having a displaceable spacer member (171), wherein the displaceable spacer member (171) is displaceable between an active position, in which the displaceable spacer member (171) contacts the first clamping fingers (131) of the at least one pair of first clamping fingers or the second clamping fingers (132) of the at least one pair of second clamping fingers urging them away from each other in the clamping direction (Y-Y), and an inactive position, in which the displaceable spacer member (171) does not apply any force to said first clamping fingers (131) or said second clamping fingers (132).A withdrawable low-voltage circuit breaker unit comprising the slide-in clamping device (100) is also disclosed.
