Abstract
Herein is described a shapeable fabric comprising: first fibers comprising glass fibers oriented in a first direction; second fibers comprising glass fibers oriented in a second direction; and an intermingled stitching yarn (1) comprising a plurality of infusion filaments (4) and a plurality of shaping filaments (2) that are intermingled, wherein the second direction is within 0 to 90 degrees of the first direction, and the intermingled stitching yarn (1) forms a stitching pattern through the shapeable fabric and maintains the first and second fibers in their respective orientations, and wherein the shaping filaments (2) have a melting point of less than about 150 °C, and the infusion filaments (4) have a melting point of at least about 180 °C.
