Abstract

A straddle-type vehicle (1) of an electric type that travels using electric power. The straddle-type vehicle includes a seat (35) provided behind a handle (26) and on which buttocks of a driver are to be placed, and a battery (61) of a fixed type installed below the seat (35). The battery (61) is tilted forward such that a front surface (64) is brought close to a front end of the seat (35). An upper end of a rear surface of the battery (61) is located in front of a lower end of the rear surface of the battery (61).
