Abstract
A cover (1a; 1b; 1c, figures 4a-4c) for protection of space hardware (13, figures 4a-4c) against an atmospheric oxidant, wherein the cover (1a; 1b; 1c, figures 4a-4c) comprises: a first layer (A), which has one side configured to face away from space hardware (13, figures 4a-4c) and an opposite side configured to face towards space hardware (13, figures 4a-4c), comprising: at least one first material portion (3), and at least one second material portion (5), wherein the first material and the second material are different atmospheric oxidant resistant materials. A method for manufacturing the cover (1a; 1b; 1c, figures 4a-4c).
