Abstract

Marking tool configured to mark a point of interest on a surface 53 and to mark information related to the point of interest onto the surface 53, the marking tool comprising an elongated rod having a first end, a second end, and a center axis 40, a holding device, and an actuating device, wherein the marking tool is configured to be connected to a marking template device 33 including a marking template 51 having a template surface 52 configured to be placed on or near the surface 53 and having at least one marking element being formed as number, letter, character and/or symbol.
