Abstract
The disclosure relates to a storage grid having a support structure that defines a horizontal grid of columns, each column being arranged for the vertical storage of a plurality of storage bins, the storage grid having a bin support moveable between: a deployed position wherein a storage bin can be lowered down one of the columns onto the bin support; and a withdrawn position wherein a storage bin can be lowered down the column past the bin support.
