Abstract

An air flow control device for controlling an air flow being introduced to a refrigerated zone of a storage volume in a storage and retrieval system, said air flow control device being configured to be mounted in an orifice of an air duct to distribute the air transversally into an air release volume of the refrigerated zone, the flow control device comprising a main body portion having a face with first airflow apertures of a first configuration, wherein said air flow control device further comprises a de-icing portion comprising second apertures having a second configuration arranged to create a pressure differential across the air duct face.
