Abstract

The invention relates to a method for assisting a user in automating operations of a vessel, a user assisting device and a vessel comprising such a user assisting device. The device provides a number of scenarios for operating the vessel, provides for a scenario to be designed or modified, a set of actions (A1, A2, A3) triggerable by conditions in or around the vessel, receives a selection of at least one action (A1, A2) of the set from the user and implements the at least one action (A1, A2) for being performed in the scenario if at least one corresponding condition is being fulfilled.
