Abstract

The disclosure relates to a method for configuring an application to integrate into a wireless communication system. The method involves obtaining data representing the capacity parameters of the wireless communication system, requesting the application function interface to provide a response representing the capability for the application to operate with a proposed subset of parameter values, and integrating the application into the wireless communication network by allocating a Quality of Service (QoS) profile determined by the network controller device based on the current network capacities and the responses stored in the response data structure. The method is implemented by a system interface comprising an application function interface and a network controller device of the wireless communication system. It aims to ensure that the application can operate effectively within the wireless communication system by considering its capacity parameters and allocating an appropriate QoS profile.
