Abstract

Disclosed is a method (100) for selection of components in an electrical plant design. The method comprises identifying dummy request objects within the electrical plant design, representing a placeholder for a component. The method further comprises extracting and normalizing features of the dummy request objects from a component library. The features include a combination of attributes, masks, and properties of the dummy request objects. The method further comprises aggregating the normalized features of each dummy request object. The method further comprises processing the aggregated features of the dummy request objects, by utilizing a pre-trained model using embedding techniques, to calculate similarity scores between the dummy request objects and available component options in the component library. The method further comprises generating an output with a selection of components for each of the dummy request objects based on the similarity scores thereof.
