Abstract

This method of performing a semantic segmentation of an image is implemented by a computer and comprises the steps of: - extracting (E50) a classification token for at least one crop of said image; - determining (M10) the presence, in said image, of at least one object of a class belonging to a predetermined vocabulary, said determination being based on a similarity between said at least one classification token and text features extracted (E20) from a label of said class ; - selecting (E140) at least one patch of said image based on a similarity between features of said patch and said text features; - generating (E160) a segmentation mask for said object using said selected patches.
