Abstract

An automotive electronic device comprises at least one heat generating electronic component, a heat sink, and a heat transfer structure extending between the at least one heat generating electronic component and the heat sink along an extension axis and comprising a first end section in thermal contact with the heat generating electronic component and a second end section in thermal contact with the heat sink, wherein a cross-sectional area of at least one of the first end section and the second end section of the heat transfer structure is smaller than an area covered by the heat generating electronic component.
