Abstract

The present disclosure relates to electromagnetic compatibility (EMC). A foam tape (100) is provided. The foam tape (100) is for providing EMC-shielding to electronic devices. The foam tape (100) comprises one or more elongated foam segments (102), each elongated foam segment (102) having a cross section (108) and a length (110). Each elongated foam segment (102) is compressible in at least a direction perpendicular to the length (110). Each elongated foam segment (102) is electrically conductive in at least a direction perpendicular to the length (110).
