Abstract
Aspects of this disclosure are directed to a circuit for a flash ADC converter, comprising: a differential input; a comparator having an output, and first and second input at first and second nodes; reference capacitors, ach having a first terminal respectively connected to first and second nodes, and a second terminal connectable respectively to a supply and to a second supply voltage; first and second reservoir capacitor, each having a first terminal connected to the second supply voltage, and a second terminal connectable respectively to the first and second node; and a plurality of switches controllable to: operate a first charge-setting phase, a second charge-sharing phase, and a third, measurement phase. A corresponding method is also disclosed.
