Abstract

A battery pack (1) and a vehicle (100) are disclosed. The battery pack (1) comprises at least two battery module assemblies (2, 3, 4, 5), wherein each one of the at least two battery module assemblies (2, 3, 4, 5) comprises: - a plurality of battery modules (BM1-BM4), each battery module comprising a plurality of electrochemical battery cells (EC) stacked next to each other, wherein the plurality of battery modules (BM1-BM4) are stacked on top of each other in the height direction (H), and are formed such that a first battery module (BM1) provided below a second battery module (BM2) extends beyond the second battery module (BM2) in the width direction (W) to an outer end (21, 31) of the battery module assembly (2, 3), as seen in the width direction (W).
