Abstract

An electric vehicle (100) having an electric motor (4F, 4R) as a drive source includes one or more processors (102) configured to generate an artificial sound in conjunction with required torque for a drive system of the electric vehicle (100) and to output the artificial sound from a speaker (21) mounted on the electric vehicle (100). In a first mode, the one or more processors (102) are further configured to generate the artificial sound in conjunction with first required torque being independent of an operation amount of an accelerator operation device (22) of the electric vehicle (100).
