Abstract
A radio terminal receives, via one or more RRC messages, a first configuration related to downlink (DL) reception or uplink (UL) transmission, a second configuration related to the DL reception or the UL transmission, provided in addition to the first configuration, and a third configuration related to cell DTX or cell DRX (cell DTX/DRX). The radio terminal uses the first configuration for the DL reception or UL transmission while the cell DTX/DRX based on the third configuration is deactivated, and uses the second configuration for the DL reception or UL transmission while the cell DTX/DRX based on the third configuration is activated. For example, this helps facilitate switching the operation of the radio terminal between normal operation and operation more appropriately aligned with cell DTX/DRX, depending on the dynamic activation and deactivation of the cell DTX/DRX.
