Abstract

The present disclosure relates to the technical field of communications. Provided are a sidelink interface message transmission method and apparatus. The method comprises: sending a first message to a network device, wherein the first message comprises a destination layer 2 (L2) identity of a relay terminal and an end-to-end identifier used for distinguishing different end-to-end connections between a first terminal and a second terminal; the relay terminal is a relay terminal between the first terminal and the second terminal; there is an end-to-end connection between the first terminal and the second terminal; and there are one or more second terminals.
