Abstract

The present disclosure provides a multicast session transmission method, device, equipment and medium, and relates to the technical field of communications, which solves the problem of lack of flexible control on a state in which UE receives a multicast session in the related art. The method of the present disclosure includes: receiving a multicast session activation notification message transmitted by a network device; receiving a multicast session in a target RRC state, according to a multicast session reception mode, or a multicast session reception mode and the multicast session activation notification message; wherein the multicast session reception mode is indicated by the network device or agreed upon by a protocol.
