Abstract
A mechanism for attaching a visor (2) to a helmet comprises a hollow base (3) attached to the shell (1) of the helmet and provided with a hole (3A), a pin (5) provided with an end (6) sized and shaped to pass through a hole formed in the visor (2) and in the hole (3A) so as to be able to rotate between a position of disengagement from and a position of engagement with the inner wall of the hollow base (3), a lever (4) which carries the pin (5) so that it is axially sliding with respect thereto (4) but is constrained to rotate together with it, as well as a spring (8) which acts on the pin (5) so as to push it outwardly into abutment against an end stop (4C).
