Abstract

An image forming apparatus (100) includes an ejection portion (30), a container portion (61), a storage portion (65), a heater (73), a detection processing portion (91), and a supply processing portion (92). The ejection portion (30) ejects ink. The container portion (61) contains the ink to be supplied to the ejection portion (30). The storage portion (65) stores the ink between the container portion (61) and the ejection portion (30) in a supply path of the ink from the container portion (61) to the ejection portion (30). The heater (73) heats the ink between the container portion (61) and the storage portion (65) in the supply path; The detection processing portion (91) detects temperature of a location where the image forming apparatus (100) is installed. The supply processing portion (92) supplies the ink from the container portion (61) to the storage portion (65) at a supply speed based on the detected temperature detected by the detection processing portion (91).
