Abstract

The disclosure relates to a rear-view device (10) for a vehicle (100), the rear-view device (10) comprising an indication unit (20) configured for a first vehicle function (F 1), the first vehicle function (F1) being to indicate a situation in an environment of the vehicle (100) provided by a driver information system (40) of the vehicle (100), wherein the indication unit (20) is further configured for a second vehicle function (F2) different from the first vehicle function (F1).
