Abstract

A control system (10) is described, configured to implement a real-time control of at least one actuator device (7) in a vehicle (1), having a first control loop (10a) provided with: a digital twin model (12), configured to implement a virtual representation replicating the behavior of the vehicle (1); and a digital controller (14), configured to output a control signal (SCMD) to be provided to the actuator device of the vehicle (1), based on a feedback control loop closed on the digital twin model (12). The control system (10) may have a second control loop (10b), configured to generate a compensation of the control action implemented by the first control loop (10a) prior to sending an actual command to the vehicle (1), based on a difference between an actual behavior of the vehicle (1) and the behavior replicated by the digital twin model (12).
