Abstract

Method for tracking an object (10) moving through a three-dimensional space (1) within a field of view (111) of a digital camera (110), comprising: obtaining from a radar (120) directional information (126) regarding the object (10) and from the digital camera (110) a series of consecutively captured images (122); determining a region of interest (123) corresponding to a location in the consecutively captured images (122) of the object (10); determining if a pixel (124) is a blob candidates based on region of interest (123) and form correlating blobs (125) across the images (122) to determine a trajectory (11). The determining blob candidates (124) is performed based on the region of interest (123) by determining of what pixels are blob candidates as a function of the region of interest.
