Abstract

Method for tracking an object (10) moving through a three-dimensional space (1) within a field of view (111) of a camera (110), comprising:obtaining from a radar (120) directional information (126) regarding a hypothetical moving objects (30) and determining a hypothetical radar-based trajectory;obtaining from the camera (110) a series of consecutively captured images (122) and identifying a hypothetical camera-based object trajectory;correlating the hypothetical camera-based trajectory to the hypothetical radar-based trajectory;determining the object trajectory as a hypothetical three-dimensional trajectories based on the hypothetical camera-based trajectory and the hypothetical radar-based trajectory.The method further comprises feeding back information relating to the three-dimensional trajectory (11) to alter the results of analyzing of the images.
