Abstract

Embodiments of this application disclose a display control method and an electronic device, and relate to the field of electronic devices, so that the electronic device can use different sliding policies in different usage scenarios, thereby improving usage experience of a user. Specific solutions are as follows: The electronic device displays a first page; the electronic device receives a first sliding operation of the user sliding along a first direction on the first page; and the electronic device controls, based on a target sliding processing policy in response to the first sliding operation, the first page to slide along the first direction, where when the target sliding processing policy is a first sliding processing policy, duration for which the first page is slid along the first direction is first duration, and a distance for which the first page is slid is a first distance; or when the target sliding processing policy is the second sliding processing policy, duration for which the first page is slid along the first direction is second duration, a distance for which the first page is slid is a second distance, where the first duration is greater than the second duration, and the first distance is greater than the second distance.
