Abstract

The invention provides a use of a solution as an ink to provide, in an ink-printing operation onto a surface of an intermediate product in the production of a perovskite solar cell, a surface film convertible into a functional layer of the perovskite solar cell via drying, wherein the ink-printing operation employs a print head (P) having at least 100 nozzles and/or deposits the ink over an area of at least 0.3 m<2> of the surface, the functional layer is one of an electron transport layer (3a), a perovskite layer, and a hole transport layer, and the solution contains a precursor of the functional layer in a polar solvent which contains an alcohol and/or and ether.
