Abstract

An apparatus and related aspects for providing reduced pressure to a tissue site are disclosed. The apparatus comprises a source of negative pressure configured to provide negative pressure via a first fluid flow path from an inlet of the source of negative pressure to a wound site, power supply circuitry comprising a power source, the power supply circuitry being configured to provide a supply voltage to the source of negative pressure. The apparatus further comprises control circuitry operatively connected to the source of negative pressure and the power supply circuitry. The control circuitry is configured to, in response to receiving an indication that a noise level of ambient noise is above a noise level threshold, set the supply voltage to the source of negative pressure to a first voltage value above a nominal voltage value.
