Abstract

A thermoforming apparatus (1) for applying a coating film (2) to a support (3) comprising a bottom wall (4) and a lateral wall (5) which define an inner surface (6) and an outer surface (8). The thermoforming apparatus (1) comprises a supporting element (14), defining a housing space (15) for the support (3), and a closing element (16), which are movable between a home position, in which they are spaced apart, and a working position, in which they are coupled. The thermoforming apparatus (1) comprises means for creating a vacuum (19) for causing the coating film (2) to adhere to the inner surface (6), and a movable application element (23) for applying a portion (34) of the coating film (2) to the outer surface (8) at the lateral wall (5).
