Abstract

A food trolley (100) for transporting foods and similar, comprising a frame (10) defining a storage compartment (1) for the containment of said foods; a moving system (2) connected to said frame (10) to enable the movement of said food trolley (100); and a release braking system (3) comprising braking means (56) acting on said moving system (2), and an actuator assembly (5) comprising an actuator member (31) capable of assuming a release position, in wherein it activates said release braking means (3), locking said moving system (2), and a working position, when grasped by a user to move said trolley (100), in wherein said trolley (100) deactivates said release braking system (3), so as to release said moving system (2).
