Über die Kanzlei
Barzanò & Zanardo geht auf zwei getrennte Wurzeln zurück: das 1878 in Mailand gegründete Büro Barzanò und das 1880 in Rom entstandene Zanardo & Co., die sich 1906 zusammenschlossen. Über die folgenden Jahrzehnte, von der Belle Époque bis zur Digitalisierung, expandierte das Haus nach Turin, Biella, Vicenza, Rimini und Pordenone und begleitete dabei Innovationen in Technik, Energie, Medizin und Lebensmitteln. 2024 wurden die bis dahin getrennt geführten Gesellschaften Barzanò & Zanardo Roma und Barzanò & Zanardo Milano zu einem einzigen Unternehmen verschmolzen. Mit dem Programm „B&Z Greens The Planet“ setzt die Kanzlei zudem sichtbare Akzente beim Thema Nachhaltigkeit.

The system includes a camera positioned to capture video images of an operational area of the POS terminal and a computer that determines when movement of an item by a customer operating the POS terminal indicates scan avoidance. The computer receives video images from the camera, preprocesses frames of the video images to suppress background and to track the movement of the item from a pickup area of the POS terminal, through a scan area of a scanner of the POS terminal, and to a bagging area of the POS terminal.
