Abstract

A sheet accommodation device (50) includes: a sheet accommodation body (51) that accommodates a sheet and is mounted in an apparatus main body (1a) to be pullable out from and pullable into the apparatus main body; an engaging unit (77) that is provided on any one of the apparatus main body or the sheet accommodation body; and a pulling-in unit (80) that is provided on the other of the apparatus main body or the sheet accommodation body and that has a guide groove (91) guiding a pulling-in operation of the sheet accommodation body by being engaged with the engaging unit, the guide groove being provided with a resistance force applying portion (910) that applies a resistance force to the pulling-in operation of the sheet accommodation body.
