Abstract
The invention refers to a procedure for calculating, for a first point of time (tz), a corrected temperature (T<corr>(t<2>)) of a fluid pumped by a pump unit (1) having an integrated electrical temperature sensor (2) providing a signal of measured values (T<meas>) of the fluid temperature, wherein the corrected temperature (T<corr>(t<2>)) is calculated from the measured values (T<meas>) by calculating the gradient (dT<meas>/dt) of the temperature from a first measured value (T<meas>(t<2>)) measured at the first point of time (t<2>) and a second measured value (T<meas>(t<1>)) measured at a second point of time (t<1>) that is before the first point of time (t<2>). The corrected temperature (T<corr>) is then calculated from the sum of the second measured value (T<meas>(t<1>)) and the gradient (dT<meas>/dt), wherein the gradient (dT<meas>/dt) is weighted by a factor (K). This procedure improves the response time of the temperature sensor as the corrected temperature (T<corr>(t<2>)), if the measured fluid temperature changes, better corresponds to the real temperature than the temperature (T<meas>) measured by the sensor. For control purposes the corrected temperature (T<corr>(t<2>)) can be used instead of the measured temperature (T<meas>). The invention also refers to a pump unit carrying out the procedure.
