Abstract
A computer-implemented method for tracking at least one pixel from a reference frame to a current frame in a video comprising the reference frame and the current frame, the at least one pixel having a known position in the reference frame, the method comprising:- estimating a plurality of position candidates for the at least one pixel in the current frame, each position candidate being associated with an optical flow from the reference frame to the current frame;- evaluating at least one score for each of the position candidates based on the reference frame, the current frame and the optical flow;- determining the position of the at least one pixel in the current frame by selecting one of the position candidates or combining two or more of the position candidates based on the respective at least one score.
