Abstract
A shielded current transformer having a magnetically permeable shield. The shield includes a magnetically permeable cup-shaped shell that is sized and shaped to receive a core and windings of a current transformer and a magnetically permeable washer-shaped cap for closing the cup-shaped shell. The shield is configured to shield the core from magnetic field lines generated external to the shield.
