Abstract

An electrical connector assembly (10) comprising a body portion (30) and a flexible locking arm (32) extending from the body portion (30). The electrical connector assembly (10) further comprising a male blade stabilizer (16) and a housing (12) defining a cavity (20) configured to receive the first connector (14) and the male blade stabilizer (16), wherein the flexible locking arm (32) includes a stop surface (40) configured to engage a portion of the male blade stabilizer (16) and to releasably secure the male blade stabilizer (16) to the first connector (14), wherein the locking arm (32) is configured to constrain movement of the first connector (14) relative to the male blade stabilizer (16) in a first direction (84) and constrain movement of the first connector (14) relative to the male blade stabilizer (16) in a second direction (94) opposite the first direction (84).
