Abstract

According to one embodiment, a method for providing communication between two mobile terminals is described, comprising receiving a request to establish, via at least one satellite, a communication session for a mobile terminal, checking subscription data of the mobile terminal for information about whether the mobile terminal has a type of subscription which includes a right to use a feature which includes a routing in the at least one satellite, avoiding a core network on the ground, of traffic between the mobile terminal and other mobile terminals and, in reaction to that the mobile terminal has a type of subscription which includes the right to use the feature, establishing a communication session for the mobile terminal which supports routing in the at least one satellite, avoiding a core network on the ground, of traffic between the mobile terminal and other mobile terminals.
