Abstract

According to one embodiment, a method for handling a managing task of a communication network is described, comprising receiving a specification of a managing task, wherein the specification includes requirements of the managing task, determining whether the managing task can be performed by one or more instantiated managing task handling agents, in reaction to a determination that the managing task cannot be performed by the one or more instantiated managing task handling agents, determining required capabilities of one or more further managing task handling agents which, when instantiated, allow handling the managing task together with the one or more instantiated managing task handling agents, requesting an Agent Management Function to instantiate one or more further managing task handling agents having the required capabilities and handling the managing task by the one or more further instantiated managing task handling agents and the one or more instantiated managing task handling agents.
