Abstract

The present invention relates to a catalyst feeding system for feeding a catalyst slurry to a polymer production plant. The catalyst feeding system comprises components such as a catalyst slurry inlet, a catalyst slurry outlet configured to be connected to a (pre-) polymerization reactor, connecting pipes, and instruments. One or more flanged joints are used to connect these components in fluid communication. The present invention further relates to a polymer production plant comprising the catalyst feeding system, a process for preparing a polymer using the catalyst feeding system and the use of the catalyst feeding system for preparing a polymer.
