Abstract

A tire 2 includes a tire body 4 and a sound damper 6 joined to an inner surface of the tire body 4. The tire body 4 includes a tread 8 whose outer surface includes a crown portion 60, a pair of middle portions 62, and a pair of shoulder portions 64. An axially outer end PC of a joint surface between the sound damper 6 and the tire body 4 is located axially inward of a boundary MS between the middle and shoulder portions 62 and 64. A distance in an axial direction from an equator plane to the axially outer end PC is 90% or more of a distance in the axial direction from the equator plane to a boundary between the crown and middle portions 60 and 62. A radius TR1 of an arc representing a contour of the crown portion 60 is 1000 mm or more.
