Abstract

[Object] It is to provide a control device of a vehicle capable of preventing an exhaust system component(s) for an engine from being overheated. [Solution] There is provided a vehicle with an engine and a control unit. The control unit is configured to execute an engine racing control of racing the engine, while an accelerator operation amount exceeds a threshold value TH1 with a non-travel range. The control unit is to terminate the engine racing control to thereby stop the engine, when the engine racing control is continued for an upper limit period of time TL.
