Abstract
The invention relates to a hydraulic elevator with an elevator car, which can be moved vertically in an elevator shaft and with a hydraulic control valve (10) by means of which the lowering of the elevator car can be controlled. The hydraulic control valve (10) has a down piston, by means of which a hydraulic control line from the elevator car to a storage tank can be opened or closed. The position of the down piston can be controlled by a D-solenoid (20), by means of which a hydraulic line from the down piston pilot chamber to the tank can be opened or closed. According to the invention there is a second solenoid (42) positioned in the hydraulic line from the down piston pilot chamber to the tank, the second solenoid (42) being positioned between the D-solenoid (20) and the tank.
