Abstract
An object of the present invention is to provide a novel compound that activates signal transmission from a nerve to a muscle at a neuromuscular junction and a novel therapeutic agent for myasthenia gravis. According to the present invention, a cyclic peptide having a structure of formula (I), a complex thereof, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof is provided. -X<1>-Asn-X<2>-Val- (I) wherein, X<1> represents Thr or Val, and X<2> represents Val or Ile. According to the present invention, there is provided a therapeutic agent for myasthenia gravis containing, as an active ingredient, the cyclic peptide, the complex thereof, or the pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.
